Admissions Policy
Entry to Riverview Preparatory School and Playgroup is open to any child regardless of race, colour or creed, providing the following criteria are met:- Each child must perform satisfactorily in the relevant entrance evaluation.
- The child must be of an age comparable with those already in the relevant standard.
- All conditions laid out in the application procedure must be met.

Application Procedure
Parents must obtain an Application Form and meet the PrincipalComplete and return the Application Form, together with a non refundable Administration fee of R 100.00, a copy of the child's birth certificate and immunization certificate.
Entrance Evaluations will be conducted on the day allocated and a copy of the child's latest report must be made available at this time.
Once the Principal has reviewed the pupil evaluation, the parents will be informed in writing, of the results.
On acceptance of the pupil into Riverview, the following amounts are payable in advance:
- Grade 000 & Grade 00: a deposit of 1 month's fees (refundable at the end of the year)
- Grade 0 to 7: Debenture of R 18 000.00 (refundable)

- Grade 0: a R 8 400.00 non-refundable desk levy
- Grade 1: a R 8 400.00 non-refundable desk levy
- Grade 2: a R 7 200.00 non-refundable desk levy
- Grade 3: a R 6 000.00 non-refundable desk levy
- Grade 4: a R 4 800.00 non-refundable desk levy
- Grade 5: a R 3 600.00 non-refundable desk levy
- Grade 6: a R 2 400.00 non-refundable desk levy
- Grade 7: a R 1 200.00 non-refundable desk levy
